We had a great Fourth of July! We celebrated by watching the fireworks at the riverfront on Wednesday night. (Jack was especially happy because Will and Shelby were here!) Thursday was "Lake Day" with Nana and Papa, and Friday we went swimming at the country club. He stayed busy everyday they were here! Kate didn't get to participate in all of the activities, but she will next year! She will be four months old on July 26.
This past week we took our first overnight trip with Kate. We went to Nashville for two days and stayed overnight at the Opryland Hotel. We spent our day at the Opry Mills Mall and headed to the Grand Ole Opry at night. Trace Adkins and Eric Church performed, so it was a packed house! Both of the kids did really well on the trip!
